To be honest, 300gph would be the minimum on a 30g tank that I would recommend. I wouldn't hesitate to put on that "extra" 150. In fact I would rather put a 330 on there and call it a day.

i have an AC300 and a HOT 350, i think the current is too much, but the water is crystal clear
