I have a system thats up and running for about a year now. It currently has a Bio-wheel 350 and an Aquaclear 500. Both are Hang-on-back filters. I was looking into adding a canister filter for extra filtration. When i did freshwater i had tons of filtration and the tank and inhabitants looked awsome:headbang2. Is there such a thing as over filtration:nilly:? The tank is a 55 gallon with Bursa Trigger:naughty: and a few damsels and live rock. I was lookign at the marine land canisters as well as rena and eheim. Any of you guys/gals had any exsperiance with these. Any help would be appreciated.

make a sump get an overflow box an old 20 gallon fish tank and some bioballs and media make your shelves and get a pond pump it will be clean and clear

redundancy is a good thing and almost impossible to achieve in an average aquarium filtration system.
overfiltration is good, too much flow is bad. however this being a marine tank, yay for more circulation!
