filtration that'll fit through small cabinet door

Posting pics of your stand with the doors closed and open will help to advise you on the best method of modifying it. Don't be cutting anything before adding replacement support or structure.

Its just a cheapo 3/4" particle board cabinet that you would find at petsmart/Petco with 3 doors. I just looked inside and there's no real frame work. Its kinda scary if I think about it, knowing that compressed sawdust is hold up 1000+ pounds.

I'll still try to get a picture or 2 but I think I would have to do some 2x4 framing before I even think of cutting.

Look into the odyssea CFS500. It flows quite a bit for a small canister and is not that big. It's cheap but I've had mine for over a year with no problems. Just be very careful when unscrewing the lid and tighting it. It's something to look into.

I've been researching the sunsun and odyssea and found both good and bad reviews. Still I may try one.

How big of a tank would make a useful sump for a 125.?

I own 3 Sunsuns and 2 Odysseas and I think they work great! They are not built like tanks, but they hold up to maintenance/moving just fine. They're not as fragile as a lot of reviewers would have you believe. For the price, it was worth it for me to give them a shot.....I'm stoked I did, because I've been very happy with them

Tomorrow my sunsuns should arrive from china (shipped from Indiana actually but you know) im going to post a detailed review from unboxing to set up. First impressions and the like. Ive only owned fluval and eheim canisters. Im skeptical but optimistic.

The review starts on page 5 I think.

Im extremely impressed. They were easy to set up and prime. Quality is better than expected. They are quiet and seem to move alot of water. My only gripe is the spraybar is really flimsy. I ended up hoseclamping the connections. I didnt trust the little barrel lock nut things. Solid engineering on the rest of it though. Replacement parts are going to be hard to find... but my fluval 406 cost as much or more than 4 sunsun HW-302 (264gph) filters

I'm probably getting their largest model. I picked up 2 of their power heads the other day and they seem pretty nice.
