Although my indoor pond sits in sunlight for many hours each day Wolf told me that this filter would keep my pond from turning green.
Wolf was right, the water stays clear and clean with his design.
well im kind of new at it i am 14 hah and dont really worry about that stuff so could i get some headstarts and tips. i would like it to be like 300 to 500 gallons maybe settle for 220 gallons. cause it would be cheaper than tank and its hard to come by a 180 even where i live.
Bio-load (how many critters in the pond) is one of the things your going to have to worry about along with water chemistry in a small pond as it can get away from you fast and wipe out everything in the pond. (and keep it out of too much sun).
You can't get much cheaper than the bucket filter or a variation of it.
