I agree that Aquaclear is the one to get. I don't think whisper is crap but when you weigh advantages vs. disadvantages of each filter, Aquaclear is clearly superior.

I have a Rena Filstar XP3 on my 55 gal. Overkill since it's good up to 175gallons. I had 2 on my 135 gallon tank and hadn't had any problems.

I had 2 Aquaclear 110's on a 55gal. for a while growing out some baby oscars. They did a great job even with the excessive bio-load. I recommend them.

According to about half the people out there. Marineland fans make-up most of the other half. Easier to clean and last nearly as long.

i was thinking wouldnt the emperor 400 with 2 big bio wheels be better since you have your wetdry thing going! The ac is good but what about wetdry filteration is there any. Since theres no biowheel.
