I want to say gt but it looks more like an acara due to its body structure. But im no expert so I may be wrong. Also the Dorsal trim looks to be thin and red like acaras.

This is the only one it kinda looks like to me, except mine has blue on its little pointed fins underneath him, and yellow, orange, or red on top fins.

Doesn't quite look like a GT to me, but you should be able to tell with certainty after a little growth. It's tail looks like there is enough to grow back. (going by the out of water picks)

I'm starting to think its an acara. I need to know because if it's not a gt I am going to return it. I wish there was some way of knowing for sure lol

Personally I would return it and buy a new one that is a for sure gt. That is what I did with 4 of my yellow cichlids cause they were like a dirty yellow and not bright like I wanted them
