Fin rot proper treatment

Biting frequently occurs in the same area. I have several females that get bitten by males in exactly the same spot everytime they breed. It's possible, although I admit a little unlikely.

I've used nitrofurazone to treat ray issues like this. It was recommended in Dr. Ross' book as a treatment that can be added to the water and does not need to be injected. It turns the water a nasty yellow color, but did the trick. You can get it from fishman chemical llc. They do have a website.

Thanx for all the input and help. I'll try a few suggestions and see if it helps. When treating with salt is a week long enough or how long should it be

i keep salt in my system at all times... 2 weeks would be better and replace what ever amount is lost during a water change....
