Fin Rot treatment without medication??

Do you have any scaleless species in the tank? They are usually less salt tolerant so you might need to go with a weaker salt solution if you do.

Can regular table salt be used? Just had a sudden fin rot situation must of been caused when i went after my goes with the net for an hour they must of been stressed/damage form the net chase for measurements.

I know there is aquarium salt but I currently don't have any and figure I ask for table salt if possible...as than I could treat right away.
