Final measurements as of recent

Thank you, all.

This thread is just a pinnacle, a depository of photos and the evidence of the final sizes.

All the deaths (and lives) have been traced, described, and the vast majority are explainable and have been explained in the corresponding threads in the corresponding sections.

I aim to maintain a single thread for each fish species that I keep, so my info is easy to find all in one place.

Such a rough thread... sorry for all your loss man. Is there anymore fish alive?
What do you think is killing them off??? Internal bacterial infection??

See above. It really varies - tank mate problems, disease, wrong med dosage, insufficient DO, wrong or unstable water parameters (pH, temp), and some indeed are unexplained. One constant is my perpetual stupidity and my being a fish hoarder, not fish keeper.

Is there some link to most of the deaths or are they isolated cases? I thought I saw that you kept in the neighborhood of 1,000 fish so in my mind although sad this is not a high mortality rate.

I felt the same. With such large numbers im not surprized either.

See above.

No way. You have no idea how valuable the info tou pass on is

Man ..... I’d say it’s more of a passion then hoarding. We keep the stuff we like and yours is monster fish. All you can do is live and learn. Figure out a better combination with what you have left and stay in the hobby bud.

That tropical :/. I think this thread is cursed!!

It's the norm for bonehead keepers like me with a thousand of fish. Just cumulative losses over the past 2-4 months. No need to invoke anything metaphysical whatsoever. Plain life.
