I think that Otos are generally better at algae eating than the BNs.

Right there with the Swami - I've also not kept the Nannacara but I like Bolivians. They're interactive little fish, and when they grow a bit they have decent coloration. Laetacara species are also nice dwarves. Mine ate snails like no one's business. :)

I'm going to be ordering from the wetspot once they get keyholes in which should be in a month and I would rather order a fish with a 95% survival rate like a plec than something with a 50% survival rate like an oto. I cant imagine the stress that the fish will endure shipping from the west coast to Massachusetts.
 
The Wet Spot is amazing at shipping - nice choice. I bet you can get Otos locally, too.
