I think that Otos are generally better at algae eating than the BNs.

Right there with the Swami - I've also not kept the Nannacara but I like Bolivians. They're interactive little fish, and when they grow a bit they have decent coloration. Laetacara species are also nice dwarves. Mine ate snails like no one's business.

I'm going to be ordering from the wetspot once they get keyholes in which should be in a month and I would rather order a fish with a 95% survival rate like a plec than something with a 50% survival rate like an oto. I cant imagine the stress that the fish will endure shipping from the west coast to Massachusetts.

The Wet Spot is amazing at shipping - nice choice. I bet you can get Otos locally, too.
