Yay! Cute little guy. Ours is almost 2 ft now! They grow so fast. Im glad to see someone who was actually prepared with a pond BEFORE they got the catfish. He is actually going to have a good life! Great job!

Thanks Ahsley, I did alot alot alot of research prior to getting him, and started the pond build before I got him. I ave the liner and filter, everything to set it up, just need to dig the hole haha, BY HAND!

got mine up to about a foot and a half.... they are funer once they get up around a foot, while you have him in the ten get him used to coming to the surface for food it will make it easier to pet and hand feed him once he is larger.

He is still a little skittish when it comes to me coming to the tank, I'm not sure he knows I am food yet. Also he has been upgraded into a 20 until he is about 4" (so he wont be eaten) then he will go in the 55 until the pond has water in it...still having trouble getting ahold of a pond heater, but everything shoudl be good and set by mid july.

Hey OP, what are you hoping your hybrid to turn out to be? RTC dominant or TSN dominant?

My personal preference is RTC dominant i.e. RTC look with TSN spots ^^

PS: perhaps too early to tell, you hybrid looks like TSN leaning
