I've been keeping this quite waiting for the moment I could snap this pic to make it official!
Today after almost 5 years of trying I have Channa Aurantimaculata fry ! As far as i know this is a first for North America!
They are just a couple quick pic's for now because it there first day out of dad's mouth and I don't want to stress them or the parents at all!
First here's mom, who spends her time eyeballing me makings sure I stay away from the male and her babies !
And dad first holding so far as I know , I was watching carefully woke up on 04/29/14 and he was out of his usual cave and staying at the surface gulping air regularly for the eggs. (I actually posted these when i took them, was curious if anyone would notice him holding lol)
And spotted about 10 minutes ago the fry made there first appearance !
