Thanks! I'm Glad they are doing well !

they're doing excellent. I just bought a 120 gallon 4x2x2 tank, and the pair i've decided on (or they decided on) is settling in at the moment. The water is a little murky because im planning to do a planted tank with flourite substrate, but when the water is nice and clear i'll have more videos and photos up.

Also, fixed the photo links in the last posts

Wow looking good ! There was only one pic when I first looked !!

And congrats , as far as I know you the first buyer to have pair forming ! Did the others survive the process??

Of the 7, 1 jumped out (to my own stupidity, left to my parents house for the weekend leaving a crack in the lid :( ), and 1 other refused to eat pellets, frozen or freeze dried food. He slowly became a runt until 1 day he was killed by the others. I believe in darwinism, so i just let nature take its course with him. I didn't believe he had the qualities to deserve surviving.

Of the remaining 5, my goal was to keep a pair, or at least to try and keep 1 male with 2 compatible females. So i ended up selling 2 aurantis (1 male, 1 female), leaving me with 1 male and 2 females.

After that, i left the 3 together in 1 tank. The male didn't show any aggression to either of the females. However between the 2 females, they started fighting a lot. At this time they were about 7". I ended up leaving the more symmetrical, beautiful female with the show male (the one in the last 4 photos) and they've been getting along just fine ever since. I dont have any photos of the female yet since shes a little more shy, but she is absolutely gorgeous as well with a *****y attitude haha. She really does have feminine characteristics, and she developed extremely symmetrical beautiful banding. More bands pattern than any of the other aurantis in the group.

I still have an extra female in a 50G, just in case the pair starts to show some domestic violence haha...

The pair is in a 120 G at the moment, and this morning I noticed the pair had tattered fins. There wasn't any serious damage though, so i think it was just probably a minor dispute lol. I'll get a video up in the next few days of the 120 so you can give me your thoughts. He water is still a little unclear because of the substrate im using, but it should settle within the week.

I have a couple videos of the male when i had him alone for a short period. I'll upload that tonght when I sleep and hopefully ill have it up tomorrow morning.
