Umm hmm... Probably around day 4 and they were free swimming by about 7 days. I didn't really keep track because I was so busy at the time. I had tank set at 82 degrees, started them off on frozen baby brine shrimp and now they're eating NLS flake a few times a day. Gonna move them on to .5mm pellets soon.
Around 100. They spawned on an awkward surface so a good number of eggs weren't fertilized, I've lost maybe 20 fry altogether from natural causes. This pair has put out huge spawns of hundreds of fry though. I'm honestly really glad there's only 100, if there were much more they would constantly harrass the parents because they would need so much food.
In related news, anyone interested in Cuban fry? CHEAP.
