hey, finally able to fill the thing up, here is from begin to end of the process, it took 2 hours (had leaks on the pipes so had to fix, but i'd say 1 and half hour just filling the water

-sump is 80 gallon, but of course it only took 30g of water, so after calculation with 98% full tank + 7 inch high water in sump it came out to be 253 gallon

-also in pic i will show you guys how i support the house.

-and i gotta buy wayyyy more filter media for that sump, so still a long way to go, waiting to get paid feb 10th and they better not be late again....:(

-and black blanket to cover the ugly self made stand lol

enjoy

thanks, i can't take my eyes off of it :P even my piranhas are staring at it lol (they in 55g btw)

Looks good, but the stand doesn't look really sturdy. How much length is it covering?

is 72 inch, i removed the middle 2x4 of the stand to put the sump in, because sump is 48 x 24 and tank is 72 x 24 maybe i'll stick a pole in the middle, but looks fine today still

today (the nextday) i put some blood parrots to cycle the tank, might sound i'm torturing them, but i've test the water already, everything is perfect, even the temperature, that's why i put them in, got those for $10 each at my friend's fish store, might seem small in the tank, but is actually 4 - 5 inch and i do not dye parrots, that's their color and will always be their color. here are their pictures

-please don't leave bad comments about me using fish cycle, they have been there for 6 hours now before i have post the pictures. thanks.

I'm so jealous of that tank! I'm thinking about getting a 125+ monster in my immediate future to merge 2 of my smaller tanks.

My parrots would love to be hanging with yours right now!

hehehe, thanks for the good words, don't forget to show us once you get your monster tank, i'll be first one to see :D

Is the stand made with 2 x 4 construction?
