some might remember awhile ago i posted about getting an add demensioned 30gal.... 24" x 18" x 18".

well we've been workin at it lil by lil and now its done!


heres the bottom of the stand with one side bolted down (it all comes apart!)

the sun makes the stain look un even and also the pics arent the best, under the right light (and in person) you cant tell. and the glass needs cleaned abit.

im gunna set it up after i move in march.

im gunna post this in Photo forum as well!
 
Looks like you know what you're doing. I was wondering, though, why you chose to have such heavy trim along the sides. It seems like it blocks out a lot of the viewing area. At any rate, it is a nice job and would look great in a formal setting like an office or your living room at home.

the thrim only blocks out 1.5" on the bottom (wich is only the gravel) and about 1/2-3/4" on the sides wich really isnt that big of a deal...to me at least.
