but yeah you may already have babies in it if he has already had a girl or two come down to his bucket abode

Just an update on my wild "pet"...
After the rain this past week, I guess he felt safe to move out of the bucket. I haven't seen him in there for a few days now. I still hear him, but not as much and the croaking seems to be coming from somewhere else. In fact, I started hearing another male, so he might be trying to find his competition to kick him out, lol! I'm sure he's still in my backyard somewhere or he might've moved to my neighbor's backyard.

How did you catch him?
Near my house there is a pond that is in a ditch. The pond is very private, it is on private property(my neighbor's). I can hear chorus frogs all over, but can't seem to find them. Theres lots of duck weeds and pond grass. They are very loud, but if they hear me take a loud step they immediately stay quiet?

He's just roaming freely in my backyard. Didn't catch him. He just came over one day and never left, lol!
thats pretty cool i should setup some big vases or buckets in my yard and see if i get any wild frogs lol i got too many fruit flies flying around...
