Thats if he wont take pellets??I tried some sinking pellets(thats a no-go).

same here when I got my RTC x TSN...he never took my Carnivore Sinking Pellets :irked: but he took cut up raw shrimp like a champ! :D

Pellets arn't really accepted... at least not in my house... Mine look at those foods and you can almost see them look at it like " your kidding right... you expect me to eat THAT?... Ok now that you've had some fun with me... go get me some real food... something that either swims... or has swam recently ... and hasn't been processed into a stick... :D"

But then again ... mine are spoiled LOL Shrimp, muscles, squid, tankmates...that type of thing LOL

LOL!!! ahahaha thats really quite funny! XD

Not when I have to fish out the pellets...I hate doing that when I'm trying to see if a fish will eat it... So far only my Pictus will eat pellets...And ofcourse all the other stupid fish I have... they don't count though since they don't have whiskers :D

Well i guess if he gets hungry enough there are a few smaller fish in the tank,a Dempsey to be exact!I have to replace anything that he might eat(the smaller fish are my sons). But if my cat is happy so am i!!!

im getting 1 by the end of easter :) a baby rtc and possable a tsn as well :)

eny advise ?????

Have a very big tank ready for them...a 300 gallon isn't even going to cut it for life...but It all goes towards the dimensions of the tank aswell :) also they eat alot and as for tankmates for RTC...their was one guy who posted something about RTC's don't have tankmates just food he's saving for later...which is true...only the largest of fishes may go with them

a 300 rubermaid will last ALONG time.... there are members on here that have 35+" RTC's in them and apparently they still have along way to go before ever needing an upgrade. Obviously we all have our opinions on this and I'm of the old school/new school mentality of Bigger is better but for the sake of reality of what some people can afford and actually can find the space for ... What ever works LOL

With 6 Big cats myself I wouldn't want to limit them THAT much which is why I've got the Pond under construction... again...er... never really stopped... just re-designed... ok ok so I decided to make it bigger... sue me!! LOL ;) shhhhhh don't tell my wife
