Finally got a gar

get some frozen fish and just wiggle it below the surface.
Mine came and ate out of my hand within some days and still does.

I'll have to give that a try; I already have some tilpia in the fridge.

Watch your fingers, if he's hungry he will draw blood if he grabs your finger!
But it's worth it!!!

UPDATE!

Well I finally got him hooked on tilpia after a week without feeding, so now I don't have to buy nasty feeders anymore.

About 10inches; he was around 3 1/2 when I got him three months ago..
