Finally got a male Dovii

really nice. showing alot of color at that size. i just bought my female dovii and grammodes from rapps last week. me female dovii is to small for my male which is 10in. yeah feed him krill. buy some frozen market shrimp. give him some of that with a hikari cichlid gold for a staple. he will do well.

Congrats on the Dovii, they're great fish. Mine likes Hikari Foodsticks and Hikari Massivore pellets (which at your's size would be Hikari Carnivore-same thing but much smaller) and NLS floating pellets. Someone mentioned feeding only 1 time a day but at 3.5" you should feed twice a day and you could cut down when it gets bigger imo. My Dovii is 11.5" and I only feed him once a day now.
 
I want to add that you should get him started on pellets as a daily staple and all the frozen foods and market shrimp should just be for treats. That will be much healthier for him.
 
I'm impressed that he's already showing colors at that size!

Nice Male Dovii Bro! I remember when my male dovii was that small like a month in a half ago...now mines is like 5". Yur's definitely gots some nice blues and hues of colors while still in the bag floating in the tank! /:0
