well, a while back when i was a newbie, I thought it would be a good idea to buy a redtail catfish for my 125 gallon. Of course, it grew like a monster. Eventually i moved, and my new landlord didnt like me having a 125 so I had to use a 55. sticking a 2 foot RTC into a 55 wasnt a good idea. I decided to rehome him, but first bought him a going away meal of feeder goldfish. he previously ate catfish feed from a farm store.
I put in 100 goldfish, and all but 1 were eaten. that one was stuck behind the heater. I decided to use him as a cycle fish for redoing my fish. a year and a half later, he's a gigantic shubunkin goldfish.
