seeing as u have already filled the tank you may be in a bit of trouble if u can find them, its super hard to put them on even if the tanks bowed 2mm, you can twist them but you can not pull them.

if your plastic trim is running around the whole tank id leave it as is.

What kind of lighting did you use, could you link me to the product page @ home depots web site. I like your idea of the pothos HOB what are your plans fof that?

If you put a straight edge along the bottom of the stand, do you notice any deflection?

With all due respect, that stand appears to be way underbuilt. I would add a center support; a 6' unsupported span with what appears to be 1" tube steel is asking for trouble.
 
Made my DIY glass top with angle iron and center brace with a 1/8 flat steel here how it looks!

Sides glass need to be recut. My first attempt was a fail, I used those ceiling hangers thought it would handle the glass weight. But I'm kinda worried about the angle iron for its going to be near water 24/7. Hope the paint sticks.

It's actually angle iron reinforced with 1x1 square steel
