Finally Got me a Bowfin

Dude that is awesome, whered you get him, I too have been looking for baby bowfin and gar, I know they spawn around this time and tend to forage near heavily weeded areas because thats what they eat after birth but I have had no luck finding either and I look in places that hold a good amount of gars and bowfins, its killin me, I'm happy to say I found my first two jags ever though 2 months back (they have been very hard for me to find)

Its funny though cause I would love a trout cause to me they are exotic. Also sun fish are awesome I would have some of those too, we have pumpkinseeds here but they are rare, atleast in my area.
