Finally got my Festae.

Congrats! I'm glad that you finally got your Festae. They are beautiful fish. I sold all mine. I just couldn't take the constant drama.

Each of mine were crazy aggressive individually,as pairs, and with tankmates. No matter if I kept them with other Festae or with other cichlids they killed everything. They killed every kind of dither I added too. I got down to two, a male and a female. They were fine for a while until he went nuts on her and nearly killed her. I sold him and kept her with some other cichlids because she was the calmest of all of the previous Festae. That changed when she became the sole Festae. She started attacking her tankmates. I had eneough and sold her. I am now Festae free! It was a good experience and I still think they are lovely cichlids. Would I ever get them again? Never! I rather have a nice stock of mildly aggressive cichlids than one big tank with one lone Festae.volcomstone;4347886;4347886 said:
