Finally got my first snake!

Nice snake. Yeah, ditto on what everyone else said about making sure the cage is secure and adding more hides, etc.

I usually feed my little corn every 5-6 days. Basically, whenever he's pooped and is crawling around looking for food, I feed him again.

They are illegal. There would be no way in hell a snake would ever be allowed in here. If I ever lived in a country that allowed snakes I would have one. I think they are beautiful (and it would scare the crap out of my husband as a bonus!)

That sucks, I'm guessing a snake could potentially threating the unique species of animals in New Zealand?

cool,looks alot like mine did when little.Even if they snap in the begening they usualy stop later,plus it dosnt hurt wich is nice.They are good at letting you know if they are hungry by roaming and watching your hand,lol.Just feed the right size.
