jags are awesome
make sure you feed him all the good stuff and he will reward you down the road with beautiful colors :)

Definantly, and he seems to really be blending really well with the other fish, although I noticed yesterday a superficial wound on his head, not sure if it was inflicted at the lfs or by one of mine. I didnt notice it at 1st I think because he hid the entire 1st day. Havent seen anyone go after him yet so Im thinking it was a lfs injury. Should be healed up in a couple days.

Good luck with the fish. I've had a not so pleasant experience with Jaguar cichlid. I one had one that was 3 inches and the other fishes are 5 or 6 inches. He ended up terrorizing everyone in the tank. I had to give him up and handed him to one of my friends. He now lives in a 240G with most of his friends twice his size.

Well the good thing is that he is going into an established tank so it will be quite a long time before he is of sufficient size to even think about challenging for dominance.
