The plants were delivered at 7:00 Tuesday night (they were supposed to be here by 10 AM) I was sure they would be frozen but only the tips of the Ulvaceous were wilted because it is such a delicate plant. I pulled the bad stems and still have 6 leaves left. All of the plants are great. Really green and big. He threw in a few extra vals too.
The Pogostemon Stellata is really colored up nice. It does not have as narrow of leaves as this picture.

Since they do not sell fish I did not feel the need to quarantine the plants. They sat overnight in tap water (not de-chlored) then this morning I rinsed each plant very carefully and got any itty bitty snails off that I could see or feel and planted them in the big tank. It looks so much nicer now. After the Pogostemon Stellata fully opens up today I'll take a picture for you. Oh, and I added the third light set making a total of 2.86 watts per gallon and fertilized as per the regular schedule. Cut back the duration of lighting to 9 hours per day as per the PPS-Pro instructions. I just started using the EI method of PPS-Pro Fertilizer.

I'm developing some brown algae on the foreground plants and a couple of sword leaves. New tank syndrome I'm told...also some hair algae on the flower shoots of the apons. I am thinking about adding an otocinclus. (First QT'd in the shrimp tank....no ich for me!!)
