Some of you may remember I posted a question if there where different types of Jags. Well I went ahead and bought him and it has taken about a week to get a picture. He is just now starting to recognize me and not be to afraid. When in the store his body was more silver and his tale was more dark blue. the tail still has a blueish tint but more black. Since then his colors have darkened and he looks more normal except the white dots on his tail. I tried to get pic. The girl at the LFS said it was a different type of Managuen but she didn't know which type. Now that he has darkened up I think it is a normal Jag. I still think he is pretty cool looking. I keep saying he because I think the fins look like a he but please correct me if i am wrong. I am not new to cichlids but I am relatively new to Jags all though I have done tons of research. Anyways check out the the tail pic it is the best I could get. The white dots I have not seen on other Jags.
