Finally got some baby channa bleheri

How are they settling in? Have the bleheri's coloured up enough to see if there are red streaks in the caudal fin?

They seem to be doing really well i do however need to get my hands on some more plants .do u by cance have any clippings that you could sell me ??

Hi,

these arent bleheris these are lal cheng in stressed colour.
Bleheri have orange blotches on the tail fin

What do you have in the way of top cover? I have some salvinia and water lettuce that I can spare.....no charge. Both grow fast if you don't have mega flow filtration. My new little guys like their cork tube and almond leaves as well. I'll post "day 2" pics today.

It looks like you have a fair bit of plant cover on the bottom (not yet the jungle tanks of brucki and others...mine aren't either mind you), which will continue to fill in. I'd suggest some cave like structures and top cover with long root systems to create some shade. Is there any way to dial down your lights in the meantime?

Have they tried munching your snails yet?

The 50 gallon that the stewartiis are in was way over populated with snails but the stewies took care of that lol ate preaty much all of them couldnt belive it .i didnt realize that they liked them so much
