Bichir are good with some semi aggressive Cichlids, Semi Aggressive Loachs(Don't Get Tiger Loachs to go with them) Bad Mix. Most Tetras that are big enough not to be eaten. Same Principle for Barbs. Catfish - Plecos are almost always no no's because will suck away at their slime coat. Most catfish that have not over sized mouth's and stay within the bichirs size are okay.
