he's with some semi aggressive ca/sa cichlids like HRP, rainbows and blue acara.

In the wild it can possibly reach 3 ft but in aquaria they normally don't go past 24". Your tank should be sufficient for it.

ok ile see how it goes, might try and swap it for a del or sen if they have any, hes about 6" and was £17$34 so was that a good price.

I don't know how rare they are over there so I can't be sure if it's a good price or not. $34 is a moderate price for one in my area. I'm not sure what kind of tankmates you have so you have to make sure they get big enough to not get eaten and not aggressive enough to pick on the bichir if you decide to keep it.

thing is i migt 50/50 getting a 6by2by3 in out 2nd living room, and in the 4by2by2 has female jags, jd, GT which are semi aggressive...... this is sounding a bad idea ive herd that cichlids might pick on it

i have a 4by15by15 which i was going to use for the del which turned out to be a endli endli
wow my bad i forgot to use the edit....so no iam not a loser trying to get my post count up:ROFL:
