how long would it take to get to 6 to 24"? also canit be kept with dels and sens?

my endlis are being kept with various species of bichirs and my biggest could easily eat many of them.
but no problems thus far.
mine grew really quickly until he hit 10 inches.
he may be more though.

are they shy? what do you feed yours, ive been putting in beef heart, blood worm and sinking pellets, havent seen him eat yet....i asked the LFS what they were feeding them and they said flake? but theirs cichlids and fast fish like danio and barbs
