its taken me a minute but its been a week now since ive had the 125( which i found out its a 130gallon) up and running but im still going to get another AC110 for it soon! for now i have 50lb. of pool filter sand and added the two big chunks of driftwood! added a stealth heater and UV sterilizer! i will add a few more pics of when the driftwood finally sinks ive had it in for a week and 1 day now and its not sunk!

i still need to add a background aswell!

Sumps are great for bio filtration but Id still say get two hobs or canisters (like 300gph+) to get better debris filtration. I have a 150g with a magnum 350 and 2 AC70s, this way I have enough bio filtration and debris is being picked up from an intake on the left, in the middle, and on the right hand side of the tank. Keeps it cleaner in my opinion.

Good thinking on getting some HOB's thatd be what id do, and although the dimensions add up to more theyre still considered 125's most likely because the thickness of the glass, look up the standard dimensions of such tanks, my 150 works out to 180 gallons on the conversion.

Another thing you could do for filtration, which i had thought about, was an overhead filter, they are efficient and provide biofiltration comparable to a sump, look into it, you can make one cheap and get a high flow pump off ebay pretty cheap too.

I vote for an fx5. I had mine up and running for over a year. only have to really clean it out 1 every other month. Although I never had to much trouble with HOB. Good luck and glad to so the ID sharks about to get a bigger home.

yeh i plan on getting the other AC110 and a canister i will try and get a Fx5 ive heard nothing but good things about them!

but for now im just putting the 2ID's and the CK in there for now. im kind of upset i just now getting this set up and i have a friends sister trying to get rid of a 250Gallon, but great news shes willing to hold on to it for a couple months so i will have more room soon.

but what should i stock the new 125 with:
-ID sharks
-CK
-?
i was thinking about two baby Motoro rays i seen at a LFS one is about 4" and the other is 5"!
and some assorted polys like a delhezi, a ornate, and a endli!

what you guys think?
