here is my stand 'skeleton' ready for the tank..

Looking good like the geo and that red oscar is exceptional!

Nice!
Substrate? Filtration? Is there going to be any more decoration? Plant, wood, rock?

neo...the 3-d background panels are made by a German company called Juwel; they make tanks etc as well I bought them on-line from a German site; worked out at $50 for a 2ft by 2ft panel; they are made of polystyrene and cut really easily; you get either a 'rock wall' or 'tree stump set in rock'....

here's a link to their site...

cb freder....... there will be lots more decoration..pics as I go...I have a huge 4ft piece of driftwood plus lots of smaller pieces, lots of plastic plants/vines with sand as the substrate.
filtration will be via 3 cannisters.....Fluval FX5, Eheim 2217, Eheim 2213, plus 2 internal power filters(total of 7300 lph(approx 1800 gallons ph); the power filters and the 2 Eheims are currently filtering the 135 and will be transferred over last minute just prior to the fish going in so no need to cycle......

I have just finished staining the stand 'skin' and doors; final top-coat of varnish tomorrow then finish the stand Sat/Sun....Monday day off....Santa comes.....Tues partially fill add sand and let it settle..Wed fill 135 straight in to the 250 add fish and filters.....sounds easy:grinno: ......bet it isn't:D

Just for Cichlaguapote here's another shot of my female O......
