I run 2 sump pumps to keep basement dry, refrigerator, 750g tank I kill one pump though, 180g, 120g 29g. My big tv and if its cold I have a pellet stove that I run. I really need to have it wired to house but I just run cords

wow thats horrible. Thats the kind of thing that would shut me down from fish keeping for awhile. I hope you start up again and keep your dreams going.

I won't quit but I'm not buying all these fish again till I move next summer an build my 1500 plywood build too much work to pellet train an all now an then have to move them all in 6 months

Sorry for your loss . Im buying a generator as Xmas gift for myself. I live the DC metro area and my tank is in the basement and we always have power outages.

sorry for your losses... I would be posting a similar thread if my brother hadn't found me a generator the day the storm hit... I was out for 71 hours.. some in my area are still out..
