mmmm, I'm drooling. I packed 3 double 48" t12 lights over my 55 planted tank, and the heat/clutter is poopy. I'm going to have to search for a double t-5 ho fixture for it.

Can you use - sure. But the actinic bulbs provide no usable light spectrum to the plants.

Actinic would be useless for plants, but as far as the Glo lights are concerned, they come in the full line of hagen bulbs that have been out for years.

Wish I could get T5 for my nano tanks instead of the CF but o well maybe in a year or so. I love the one on my 55g.
