well i finally got me a male dovii. a mate of a mate was getting rid of him and i snatched him up very quickly. he's around 6"

Nice little male. Yeah it took me about a year to get one. Now i have 7 dovii. # females and 4 males. One male is 10in. Trying to breed them and spread them more into the hobby. Gl with yours. Awesome fish with loads of personality.
