FINALLY!!!! My corn snake!

Ok I finally talked/tricked my mom into letting me get a snake lol. See her boyfriend breeds corn snakes and what not. And today I went in and got rid of all of my fish :( (I just dont have time anymore). So I took all my fish in and I was looking at the snakes and I was handling this snow corn. And the guy that works there (we are good friends) said well I will give you that snake for free if you want...I was freaking out! I called my mom and begged...unfortunately she said no....So when I was driving home I got a great idea. I called her and told her to ask her boyfriend if he wanted it and he said sure he would love it. So I took it home cuz of course I have to "hold" it for him right? Well little does she know I am gunna be "holding" that snake for a while lol. We decided that every time he comes to get the snake he is going to "forget" it lol and she will just get used to it. So anyways he already took a pinkie for me within hours of being here and he is beautiful! Needless to say I am quite unprepared but I am making up a list of stuff I am going to have my brother pick up tomorrow while I am at work. SO if you got any tips I would love to hear them. Thanks and here are some pics.

Yea I know. I was not prepared at all but I had to take the little guy home. But I am sending my brother out tomorrow while I am at work to grab me some aspen bedding and a heat pad. Then I am going to keep a small heat lamp on it for a nice ambient temp. I also have a few hides laying around the house somewhere that I have to find. He has one in there right now. BTW he does have paper down for his substrate I just lifted it so I could feed him.

Good job getting aspen. Whats youre hide gonna be? Cork tubes/flats work great.
 
I have a few of the bark half cave things laying around but I think I am going to order a couple pieces of cork bark too. Thanks for the compliments guys. I really like this guy. Man its hard not to try and hold him right now haha.

Why so? What is something good I can use until I get the cork bark? Also I do have one question that I have never found the answer to on the internet...Can somebody tell me what I should do about the humidity? Should I keep it low and never spray or spray once a day or spray once a week or when they shed? Thanks

You can get a small flower pot saucer and make a hole in the edge, then turn the thing upside-down. It costs less than a dollar, which=more cost-effective than cork bark.
