Very nice Corn dude ive got a snow about twice the size of yours, i wnat more snakes but my mom doesn't.

Oh please lets see pics! I have been looking for adult specimens to see what mine will look like. Also I will go pick up some flower pot things today after work. Thanks.

Half logs are terrible shelters. Big, open ends, just plain unsafe. Thats like hiding under your kitchen table. Consider your snake has no idea there are no giant predators in your house about to eat it.

The point of a hide FOR ANY ANIMAL, is to be small, dark, secure, and SAFE.

Ok well for now I have a little coconut thing which is pretty snug and dark along with the water dish he hides under and he burrows in the alpine bedding...Is this good enough or do I still need more? Also he has a piece of grape vine in there to climb on.

Don't worry about spraying for humidity... some people may do it when they go into shed... I don't bother personally unless they have problems shedding. Congrats on your snake.

Nice corn, my very first snake many MANY years ago was a corn. Didnt take too long to con my mom into a boa...........you will see...you will see.

Good job, sounds like youre pretty much set. As long as you have a water bowl, you dont need to mist until it sheds. Good luck man.

Thanks everyone. He is doing really good. I had him out today and he is a really curious little guy but super nice. I am already working on the ball python. My mom's boyfriend is giving my brother a ghost king tomorrow lol. Of course when I got one he wanted to get one.

thats the way my sister was with cali kings till yesterday night when mine came out of a shed and tried to eat my finger and almost did before my dad pryed him off

Lol thats funny. Well its not a big deal cuz my brother is 19 and fully capable of keeping a snake. And if he doesn't then I can take over. I just can't wait to see it!
