I'll take Absinthe..... 5.45 can be easily formed from 222 brass and standard .224 bullets can be reduced to .221. It does exist it is just not for those that just like to plink...

You can build a fairly basic AR15 for under 650 dollars easy. If you really pecked around, you could probably get down a shade under that, but you'd probably spend enough time searching that it wouldn't be worth it.

I got my lower receiver from Brownell's. It's a Spike's Tactical lower. Everything else was a rifle kit from Del-Ton Inc.

I just helped a buddy of mine build an AR and he picked up a Spike's lower receiver from a gun show. Seems like a quality lower and from what I hear they're owned by Yankee Hill which makes excellent AR parts and accessories.
