Finally- pics of my first flowerhorn!

It took forever, but I finally got a cable to move the pics from my camera to my comp. Here goes. The first pic is when i first got it 4 weeks ago. The next two are from last night. The following ones were taken about 2 hours ago. Please let me know what you think. Sex and strain of FH would be nice as well! Not the prettiest thing yet, but the pearls are starting to come in on the body and the rear tips of the dorsal and anal fin. I'm starting to see a bump, but it might be in my head, not on hers.

how big is this, because he looks very small to be fading. the color that hes fading to is really odd. i like it!
 
Do you know if he was a specific breed line? He's very unique!

He's about 2.25", maybe a little more, but 2.5" max. (Total length.) It looked like it had started fading when I first got it at 1.25"- that's why I picked this one.

I'll do my best to update every few weeks or so. Think he'll continue at this growth rate? (about an inch a month) It took me a about two weeks, but I finally got him off flake and onto hikari. Maybe more growth now? :-)

I've got no clue what he is, I just picked him out of a LFS tank bc he was partially faded and looked like he was going to a light blue. There was another one that partially faded but looked like he was going to a dull yellow. Most of the others in the tank had the trimac color that the petsmart type FHs had. Any guesses on a possible strain?

I just realized that I've got no pics of his left side. I'll work on that for next time. Looks like the plum line is going to be gone?

That's why I got him! I just hope he keeps the blueish tint and doesn't go pink on me! :nilly:
