Thanks. How big will he have to be for his strain to be identified?

I would suspect around 3 inches or so. Very curious to see him then for sure.

Funny how peeled he is. Not even any flowering. I would love to see this little guy in 6 months or so.

He seems to get in a bit of a flowerline when he's stressed? Maybe that's just the stress bars showing over section where the flowerline pigment should be.

it's very young still. who knows what it is. i doubt a LFS would be selling KGMs honestly. unless that LFS is know to carry great flowerhorn. who knows tho could have been a trade in. druu update him in a few months when it gets some decent size.

there is no such thing as too much time in front of the tank. maybe too much time at work, but not too much at the tank.
