No, they are related to gouramis, they are more commonly availabe in Holland than the USA, they are quite small, there is more info in this thread or do a forum seach for luciocephalus pulcher.
i'm in Indonesia...Sumatra is one of the biggest island part of Indonesia while i live in Java island...
never actually see those magnificent fishes for sale...i guess they capture them and exporting them coz they got more money than selling it to local people...
a bit ironic though..so close yet so far.. lol...
anyway the fish looks great and i'll open my eyes more to see wether my lfs have some available..

Im4u2nv, Check in slow, shallow, overgrown streams and swamps where the water is dark with tannin.
