finally sajicas breeding

mine just laid their second batch of eggs yesterday

barley did you raise the fry OK and if you did we need pics and how big they are

haha there nice, i have loads off eggs but just need them to hatch and i will seporate them, are your babies with the mum and dad? and how many you got. in about 1-2weeks the sajicas will be in a 45 with some honduran redpoint so they can both breed in there and i have a seporater incease and a 20gallon for the babies and i have asked to sjop how much for each fish they said £3 ($6)for sajica and £5($10) for honduran redpoint which is realy good.(i think) i will get pics soo of them but lately been realy tired due to s***y school

Hey David that is a great price from the LFS !!!! you may get your money back out of them.

with the Sajica you can leave the fry with the parents with out a problem.

thanks iam going to remove them at wrigles stage as the are bigger firemouths and blue acaras in there, i was looking at my sajicas and i was like WTF my male is protecting the eggs and i see him strole off to my other female in the same tank and they wer quite close and i looked and i saw she had her sexual organ out i was thinging wtf my male is a P.I.M.P haha should i remove the other female sajica or leave her there? i have another (smaller) male in the other tank i might add them up thats where my hrp and elliotis are and that tank is very calm and i dout they would pair up and breed straight away.

and barley i just looked at your tank mates and i saw you had 5 hrps goodluck with them, i have 1pair(i think) about 1-2inch and iam getting another 4 haha iam not doing that on purpose, iam getting the 4 from rapps in 1-2weeks, were did you get them from and what size i promise i will make a new thread with the sajicas and hrp in the same thread

i did not know you had them with tank mates. yes you will need to remove the fry. I would leave the second female he may breed with both they have been known to do that.

the 3 female and one male HRP came from N-E CICHLIDS (they are very nice fish) the big male i already had. you saw a pic of him in a diffrent post.

sorry, well my eggs havnt hatched yet how long did it take yours to hatch? i realy want these to hatch
