Finally set up a proper CA tank

Good point! I guess it's close enough though....aggression is my #1 concern.

Anybody had success with a similar setup?

Looks good peter. Really like the male pearsi. Going to be a stunner. Female festea are pretty shy until they are big. I'm sure some are pretty aggressive but I still think a female would work fine. Never kept vieja's with one so I can't say that for sure, but if it doesn't work you can come dump it in my tank instead of Sean's.

I think your next best bet is either a small group of rhystima or some other vieja's with red in them. I don't think a lab or cit would work at all. The snooks are cool but more orange then red.

The male pearsei is a poop champ. He can finish two romaine lettuce leaves in minutes and poop everything out in a couple of hours Wish I could find some fish that "clean up" the veggie poop...
