Very nice! Do you use those ceramic rings as bio? I had a bunch of those prefilter/ceramic rings in my canisters and i replaced them with fluval bio-max as i was told they are porus and allow for more bio compared to the ones being used. I dont know I havent noticed any difference...

Nice cichla though! I aspire to have a tank big enough that could house a school of cicla, a ray family and an arrow community.

I use ceramic rings and an eheim 2215 full of them.I have perfect biological filtration in that tank!
I never used fluval bio-max but i hear very good words about it.And even better about Seachem Matrix.
