well you have sand and a beautiful setup, honestly man, i'd go with some Geo's.
In my tank i have 6 clown loaches, a fire eel, a couple geos and some baby sevs and it looks incredible. once your geos start getting their colors it will look incredible and its fun to watch as the move the sand around.

i do REALLY want geos but i think i would have to lower my ph a bunch since it sat 8.0 right now

i think u should keep it from asia even tho u got a pleco just leave it only him and maybe get rid of him in the feature and make it a asian tank........ i dont really kno many algea eaters from asia tho......
