Finally starting my small aquarium.

NiceI finally added some little monsters to my tank, 3 dwarf puffers. I'll try to get up pics as soon as I can. I thought I was going to have to remove the guppy but so far they get along great, and no aggression toward the shrimp either, even the little babies. The snails on the other hand were decimated in the first 2 days.
Well its been about a month and the puffers are doing great. I can't really say the same for my aquascape. The good news is that I again seem to be conquering this algae. I have the puffers on a diet of frozen blood worms and flake food. I've debated hatching some brine shrimp for them as a treat. They have grown a bit and I think are about done growing. Now that they have matured, I believe they are 3 females. Now I'm on the look out to pick up a male. Aggression between the three is minimal and the guppy is still in there with no fin nipping. They completely ignore the red cherry shrimp, even the small babies. I was worried because to me the red blood worms and the tiny red shrimp looked the same.

Thinking about trying an otto cat again. I didn't have much luck with the first one. It was doing great for a month and then suddenly found it dead. I thought there was plenty of algae and even witnessed it's full belly on occasion.
actually you really dont need to worry too much about dwarf puffers and their teeth wearing down. Although snails are always a good treat
