congrats u did set that up quick..with all that space they should grow quick for u..
That's a nice little group of cichla there. The tank looks so good, love the look of acrylic.
Nice tank !!!
Bro your crazzy!! A tank takes a month to cycle completely. Rushing things is not something that you want to do in this hobby especially with rare fish. I hope all goes well but bad decision bradda. If I was you I would find someone with a ton (buckets full) of cured bio media ASAP an get that in your sump now!!!
Cycling my new 225g took a while even with a good filter. I hope you got a plan. Be prepared for it to go cloudy like overnight and WC won't help. Good luck.
Idk bro, my fish are swimming around pretty happily and ate a bunch today, but yes I can see that I did rush a little. But I know better then to risk any of my cichla I was sure that they were going to be okay. Like I said I have perfect water and it was a matter of having the temp at 80 or more so that the cichla would be comfortable. And I'm doing 20% water changes everyday. So I think I'm covered till I figure out my filter ideas... but I'm going to save my money for something crazy though, because the last thing I want to worry about is a problem over some filtration not being good enough.
