I've had 4 1.5-2" Indos for about 6 weeks, and in this time the only food that they would eat is Bloodworm, and some prawn and now today they have started taking peelets and seem to be enjoying it. Horay! They are taking dry food which is good as i've got very little Bloodworm left. Has anybody else recently converted a Dat?

I have a 8.5 inch thin bar, and heard they were the hardest to get off live foods. I guess I was lucky, because it took about 2 weeks to get him to start eating shrimp pellets, which he eats every day now. He still gets some fat heads once a week, and I started feeding krill recently which he took right to. He'll eat cichlid pellets (not happily) and will even take flake if it the first thing i throw in my tank! He'll eat up mysis shrimp although i dought he tasts anything.

I'm curious to see what else people got them eating as I am always up for trying new things

some of my indos eat hikari food sticks. they are meant for my aros, but i noticed a couple of them always jacking the aros food. one of the dats just stare at blood worms like it has coodies.

my silver dats eat pellets.. Indo's and Campbelli do not, however...have not starved them, yet
